Recently, the FAC certificate (final handover certificate) of Vietnam Yongxin Power Plant 2× 620,000 kilowatt Phase I unit 1 project，which was jointly contracted by China Energy Engineering Group Guangzhou Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd and China Energy Engineering Group Guangzhou Power Engineering Co., Ltd, is received, marking the final victory in the construction of the first landing project of "the Belt and Road initiative". We undertook the desalination project to provide the power plant with fresh water demand including industrial and fire-fighting water, domestic water, and boiler feedwater . HWTT's advanced technology went abroad and was once again affirmed.
Desalination Project
Located in Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam, the project is a key capacity cooperation project in the five-year development plan for China-Vietnam economic and trade cooperation and the five-year plan for onshore infrastructure cooperation. As a major project of practical cooperation between China and Vietnam, the development of this project has received the ardent care and strong support of the governments and leaders of China and Vietnam. The management and construction of this international project is very strict, and there are many difficulties in transportation, factory agent, climate, labor and so on. In the face of these challenges, HWTT insists on the high-quality and high-standard project management requirements that have been adhered to since construction， we sent senior technical personnel to the site to overcome a series of difficulties in the installation and commissioning process, and finally completed the project construction work with good quality and quantity. The acceptance and handover of the project was completed in December 2018, which effectively guaranteed the water demand of the power plant for commissioning.
In recent years, with the advancement of "the Belt and Road initiative", cooperation between domestic and foreign companies has increased. HWTT has also accelerated the pace of "going global" and has successfully implemented water treatment projects in more than 20 countries and regions including Vietnam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. In 2020, HWTT continued to expand the scope of business, and have signed the first Far East seawater desalination project and the first overseas wastewater recycling project, further promoting China's water treatment technology to international market.
While expanding the service area, HWTT is constantly expanding our service depth. Affected by COVID-19, the progress of many overseas projects was delayed, and technicians were unable to go to the site for installation and commissioning guidance. In order not to delay the progress of the project schedule, HWTT optimizes the service method and guarantees the implementation of the project by remotely guiding on-site workers online. With This kind of method the commissioning of the Digening desalination project in the Philippines and the equipment delivery of a desalination project in the Middle East was successfully completed. The service model of remote guidance is highly appreciated by the owners and has also become a new measure for our HWTT staffs.
