On October 25, 2017, a kick-off meeting of “Wastewater Zero-discharge Project of Inner Mongolia Yidong Group Dongxing Chemical Co., Ltd., ” contracted by HWC was held at HWC, since then, the first domestic wastewater zero- discharge and salt separation project in chlor- alkali industry has officially launched. The project makes Dongxing Chemical Co., Ltd realize the purpose of salt separation – zero discharge in the true meanings, attain recycling utilization of resources, speed up the development of enterprises, improve local ecologic environment, and push development of economic benefit and social benefit both.
HWC takes charge of the project’s whole course from design, purchase to construction and operation. By reasonable technological design and adopting evaporation and crystallization, the project achieved sodium chloride and sodium sulfate, and, by the technology of concentrated salts separation developed independently, the 150 ton /h concentrated wastewater generated from intermediate re-use system in production process reached the indexes of production re-use, and has realized the purpose of sewage zero-discharge and salts fractional crystallization. Meanwhile, the sodium chloride crystal separated out from the system was utilized as original salt of the factory’s Shop of Caustic Soda, and 7000 ton of sal glauberi separated out from the Shop of Caustic Soda was carried out together dehydration treatment, which had been treated into anhydrous sodium sulfate of the first grade of Ⅱ category conforming to the national standard GB/T 6009-2003 and was sold as a by-product of anhydrous sodium sulfate.

On the occasion of the national environmental protection cause paid increasingly attention to,development of many enterprises were affected due to problem of wastewater treatment. As a leader in the field of water treatment, HWC has ever upheld the developing idea that “there is no wastewater, only resources”, and is devoted to solutions of wastewater zero-discharge and resource utilization. Unremittingly through technical development, engineering practice, practical experience of combined multi-membrane techniques, it successfully applied these techniques to “Shaanxi Jintai Project of Chlor -alkali Wastewater”, “Shandong Huifeng Petro-chemical Project ”, “Guangdong Shaoguan Smelting Wastewater Project”, “Guizhou Batian Wastewater Project”, and “ Gansu Rare Earth High Salinity Wastewater Project” etc. many projects of high salinity wastewater treatment, making outstanding contributions to resources saving and recycling utilization.
