As far as the countries along “one belt and one road” are concerned, response to climate change is both they jointly facing subject of times and important content of international cooperation carried out by them. On April 23, 2017, the Training Class of Response to Climate Change of the Countries along “One Belt and One Road” sponsored by both the Department of Response to Climate Change of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and International Cooperative Center was held in Zhejiang Province. This is a training class of response to climate change for the countries along “One Belt and One Road” organized for the first time by NDRC. 30 officers and experts in the field of climate change came from UAE, Ethiopia, Pakistan etc. 18 countries participated in the Class. The training activities in Zhejiang Province is from April 23, 2017 to April 29, 2017.
The Center has ever actively participated in climate change South-South cooperation. As early as October 2016, it participated in experience sharing and technique workshop and training class of Zhejiang Province response to climate change South-South cooperation, in the activities, some participants investigated on site its base of seawater desalination and carried out exchanges. In the training class, the Center being invited by NDRC is in consideration of the Center’s important achievements and experience in respect of foreign cooperation of “One Belt and One Road””.
On April 23, 2017, Zhejiang Province Low Carbon Products Technology Exhibition and Meeting of One Belt and One Road Cooperative Projects was held at Scientific and Technologic Hall of Binjiang District. The Center’s Market Department and Equipment Research Division participated in the activities and made preparation in advance. In order to let the members in training class better and more intuitively understand the device，the integrated RO desalination device was moved to the scene, vividly showing it to the members of the training class, and attracting their attention, then a warm exchange was launched there. On the same day, ZJTV carried out topic interview aiming at the whole developing conditions of the Center’s seawater desalination technology and “one belt and one road”.
