The Managerial Working Meeting of Special Marine Commonweal Scientific Research Project and Project Starting Video Conference in 2013 was held in Beijing on February 27, 2013. Mr. Chen Lianzeng, the vice director of SOA attended the meeting and made a speech. In the meeting branch venue, Mr. Tan Yongwen, the Center’s general engineer, and Mr. Zhang Xijian, the person in charge of the project, attended the meeting.
The Special Marine Commonweal Scientific Research Project ---“Preparation of External –driving Rotor-type Energy Recovery etc. New Energy-saving Device for Seawater Desalination” is led by the Center, and is organized and implemented jointly by the Institute of Seawater Desalination AND Multipurpose Utilization, SOA, (Tianjin ), Hangzhou (Torch) Xidoumen Membrane Industry Co., Ltd., Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Science, Sun Yat-sen University, Xi’an Jiaotong University etc. five collaborative units. The convening of the meeting marks that the Special Marine Commonweal Scientific Research Project ---“Preparation of External –driving Rotor-type Energy Recovery etc. New Energy-saving Device for Seawater Desalination has launched officially.
It is reported that the Special Marine Commonweal Scientific Research Project launched in 2013 includes 33 projects in total, the appropriation budget is about RMB 450 million yuan, in it, 9 projects in the field of marine safety and security, marine disaster prevention and mitigation, and information; 8 projects in the field of marine overall management and marine ecologic environmental protection; 9 projects in the field of marine resources sustainable utilization; 7 project in the field of marine observation investigation and monitoring..
In the meeting, Mr. Zhou Qinghai, the director of the Department of Marine Science and Technology, SOA, Mr. Wen Bin, the director of Guangdong Province Marine and Fishery Bureau, and Mr. Yu Yonhyue, the vice director of Zhejiang Province Marine and Fishery Bureau , signed a letter of commitment of important special marine commonweal project on behalf of SOA, Guangdong Province People’s Government, and Zhejiang Province People’s Government respectively.
In addition, the related persons in charge of the marine departments of Zhejiang Province, Guangdong Province and Hebei Province reported the tentative plans of management of special marine commonweal projects in 2013; the related persons in charge of the Third Institute of Oceanography, SOA, and SOA East China Branch exchanged the conditions of the project management and implementation.
