On January 10, 2017, after experiencing check of stable and continual operation for 168 h., the Project Acceptance Group consisting of the owner Baotou Shansheng, general contractor party Zhongse Environment and the Center, the three parties, carried out entity acceptance in a same term for engineering civil construction, technologic process. Thus, the Baotou Shansheng resource utilization project of industrial wastewater zero-discharging of 200 m2 /h. formally and successfully passed acceptance.
According to the characteristics of high mixed salts content of enterprise wastewater, a set of technological processes with combined membrane zero-discharge was designed and developed for the project. Wastewater through pre-treatment by ultrafiltration (UF) system was treated by nano-filtration (NF) process to carry out separation of salts from water, then, the concentrated water after NF was re-concentrated by RO devices to make final evaporated concentrated water decrease to 5 m2/ h. Combining mechanical-type vapor re-compression (MVR) technique, the crystallization energy consumption can greatly lower. The implementation of the project will substantially lower enterprise’s operational cost, and decrease enterprise investment for water charge RMB 4.72 million yuan and decrease payment of RMB 3.5 million yuan for sewage discharge. Whole the system adopts PLC (Programmable Logic Controller ) and computer control of industrial control to carry out real-time judgment for system’s operational state, carry out alarming and operational guidance for state appeared locally, raising speed and control ability of treating the system troubles, strengthening the level of automatic control, and improving labor strength and operational environment of operating personnel.
Baotou Municipal Shansheng New Energy Source Co., Ltd. was founded in March 2004, and is a wholly owned company under Inner Mongolia Shanlu Energy Source Group, having registered capital of RMB 700 million yuan. The company carries out thermal-power cogeneration with gangue and reclaimed water generated from wastewater treatment; power generated is used for various linkages’ production in photovoltaic industrial chain, finally realizing solar electrical energy generation. But, the problem of high salinity wastewater treatment from daily production has ever been puzzled enterprises. In order to implement the social responsibility of enterprises, Baotou Municipal Shansheng New Energy Source Co., Ltd. cooperates with the Center,and tries to decrease wastewater in polluting environment through technical innovation, meanwhile lower energy consumption, save resources and decrease enterprise production cost, attaining transformation from non renewable energy resource toward renewable green clean energy resource, thus, products price being more competitive.
The project’s wastewater comes from back washing water of multi-medium filter, RO concentrated water, ion exchange regeneration wastewater, discharge water of RO chemical cleaning, discharge water of circulating cooling, flue gas desulfurization wastewater, discharge water of boiler chemical cleaning and chemical lab. These wastewater has high contents of inorganic salts of calcium, magnesium, sulfate etc., and complex components. Such wastewater of direct discharge is not only of high energy consumption but difficult to be treated. According to the characteristics of the water quality, the Center attains the purpose of wastewater pretreatment, salts separation and concentration through organic combination with membrane technologies. While decreasing evaporation volume, salts obtained by crystallization meets the standard of industrial salts use, really realizing resource utilization of wastewater zero-discharge, and lowering enterprise’s investment and operational expenses of evaporation equipment, corresponding to enterprise’s utilization of junk, developing the mode of circulating economy, and realizing the enterprise vision of “Creating green energy source, lightening health life”.
