On April 7, 2016, Hangzhou Water Treatment Technology Center (HWC) and Shandong Huifeng Petro-Chemical Group Co., Ltd., (Huifeng Petro-Chem for short hereafter) jointly held “Start and Docking Meeting of 200m3/h Sale-containing Sludge Zero-discharge and Salt- Acid-Alkaline Resource Recycling Project of Shandong Huifeng Petro-Chemical Group Co., Ltd.”. This is the first domestic project of “High Salinity Wastewater Zero-Discharge and Salt- Acid-Alkaline Resource Recycling” undertaken by WHC. Successful holding of the project’s start and docking meeting marks that HWC will join hands with Huifeng Petro-Chem to move forward side by side on the road of “new environmental protection and technologies, low energy consumption, high efficiency ”in the field of sale-containing wastewater zero-discharge, and jointly create a new situation of wastewater treatment with high salinity wastewater.
As the first domestic project of “High Salinity Wastewater Zero-Discharge and Salt- Acid-Alkaline Resources Recycling”, the technological process of sale-containing sludge zero-discharge resource recycling system is a highlight of the project; the process includes three main parts: pretreatment, concentrating salts separation, and re-concentrating crystallization to separate salt out. The membrane technologies not only better realize “zero liquid discharge” and salts separation resources recycling, realize product water reaching standard and reusing, and sodium chloride, sulfate salt meeting the standard of industrial salts, but apply HWC’s double-membrane technique to make partial high salinity wastewater turn into acid-base for application for production processes. Whole the technological process possesses the advantages of stable operation, safety and reliability, low chemicals and energy consumption etc. It fully embodies WHC’s integrated leading ability in the “whole-scheme solving system” of wastewater zero-discharge, salts-separation resources recycling etc.
In recent years, HWC has ever been devoted to solving difficult problems of high salinity wastewater zero discharge for chemical enterprises; the “wastewater zero-discharge technology” developed by it integrating a large number of practical experience of scientific researches has successfully helped many enterprises promote their sustained development by utilizing sci-tech innovation. The project will be the first one realizing zero-discharge in the trade; through both the parties’ highly mutual trust and cooperation, and advanced technical abilities, the economic significance of water saving two million m3 each year will be realized; a harmonic co-winning of social benefit, environmental benefit and economic benefit will be realized.
